My wife and I recently decided to sell our home in Clark County. Since the asking price was in the $600,000 area and since that market was in decline, we needed the best realtor possible. Rather than pick a realtor we knew, we chose Debra Kaufman after viewing one of her open houses earlier in the year. At that time, she came across as very professional and organized. We decided to list with Debra and were never once disappointed.
Because we hired a true professional, we were able to offset the disadvantage of selling in a buyer's market. Her marketing techniques were impeccable. The internet exposure was awesome, complete with a stunning visual tour. When problems arose, like running out of flyers, changes to the listing, etc., the problems were solved immediately, regardless of when they came up. Also, because we were never out of the loop, we had a constant grasp of the situation. Because of Debra's unique ability to deal with people and coordinate with buyers, sellers, title companies, fellow realtors, etc., she became irreplaceable. We would also like to say that her local real estate savvy is second to none and the value of that cannot be overstated.
We also used Debra in the purchase of the home we are in now. She knew what we were looking for and we were thus guided only to listings in our "ballpark". The purchase was smooth and her financial suggestions proved to be vital as we were competing with others for the same house. As with any purchase, small problems did arise but were rectified immediately.
Looking back on the experience, we can call our old house SOLD, our new home HAPPY, and our realtor FRIEND.
